On the 27th I was driving to Palistine when I spotted about 60-70 Great Egrets and Great blues. They were just N. of Russleville between the levee and route 33. Then on the 29th I decided to go check them out again. I was only about 2 or 3 miles north of Roberson Hills when I spotted 2 white birds.I stopped and IDed them as Cattle Egrets also in that same area I saw ruffly 30 or so semipalmated S.P. and 10 or so Gr. Blues. Then I went on down to where I spotted the Egrets on the 27th. This time they were on the opposite side of the road I counted 57 Great Egrets and also saw a flock of another 16 Cattle Egrets. If only they would fly across the river so I can add them to my Indiana list!
